MFSM Events Featured in Kalamazoo RACE Exhibit
The Kalamazoo RACE Exhibit invites us to explore race as well as the impact of race as an economic, political and cultural construct through film, still photography, interactive components and programming. The RACE Exhibit website included all of the MFSM 2009 Festival events.

NAEA Gospel Fest Choir Rehearsal for MFSM-Sponsored Event
Gerald Blanchard conducts the NAEA Gospel Fest Choir and the Kellogg Singers of Kellogg Community College in "This is the Day" (arr. Roland Sunkins). This rehearsal was for a pre-concert performance of Sweet Honey in the Rock in Kalamazoo, MI at Miller Auditorium on November 13, 2009.
Bob Rowe Featured on National Radio Christmas Special
On December 15, 2009, from 9:15-10 am, EST, The Christmas music of Bob Rowe and the ministry of Renaissance Enterprises will be featured in a one hour special on Sirius radio-160 and over 120 am radio stations nation-wide!

This special will feature original and well-known cover songs from Rowe's
two Christmas discs that are available
nationally at fine retail outlets and online in cd and down load format.
Bob has won numerous awards from Ascap as a songwriter and the prestigious
Mother Teresa Laureate in 2006, for his work on behalf of America's elderly.
He is also featured in the International Museum of Peace in Uzbekestan.
Thre is a documentary about Bobs work that will air on West Michigan
PBS outlet-WGVU-December 28th at 7:50 pm, est.
Bob said: "This is one of the greatest honors of my career thus
far-almost up there with the wonderful Mother Teresa laureate and honor
in 2006 (past Mother Teresa laureates include his holiness, Pope John
Paul 11; Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Billy Graham, President Jimmy Carter
and other notable individuals)! We are delighted to have my work displayed
in a setting that is trying to foster the cause of peace on a global
level!"
Bob's personal letters, cards and pictures from the late, Blessed Mother
Teresa are also being featured at The Mother Teresa museum in San Diego
California and are being used for the Catholic Churches cause for her
sainthood.
The late MOTHER TERESA said of Rowe: "Your work of love in nursing
homes, hospitals, for the aged and unwanted is truly the work of peace.
Works of love like yours bring one face to face with God. Continue to
use music to make the presence of God better known to those most in need-His
little ones who have forgotten to smile. My prayer is with you in a special
way and with everyone connected with 'Renaissance Enterprises."

and performers who provide almost 200 free programs per year, reaching
thousands of underserved individuals who have little or no access to
the arts through any other means. Their work is support by area foundations
and generous individuals who contribute whatever they are able to-to
foster the gift of the arts to those most in need.

Bob has recorded many music cd to help support the work of Renaissance,
with all proceeds going to offset the cost of gas and travel expenses
to bring various artists to each care facility. Some of the recordings

OF THE UNIVERSE," "CHRISTMAS BELLS," (which is regularly
featured on Star 105.7 radio in Grand Rapids each holiday season) and
